Bond and Mill Levy

We are extremely grateful for the support of Bond and Mill Levy in our school district. Ceylon is a $51 million dollar voter approved project, developed in response to changing enrollment needs in the Far Northeast of Denver. Bond and Mill Levy’s goal is to ensure Every Learner Thrives!

This school dream could not have become a reality without the time, dedication, and effort from our valued partners:

  • Swinerton Construction
  • DLR Architect Group
  • DPS Board of Education
  • Bond Oversight Committee
  • DPS Leadership Team
  • DPS Planning Design and Construction
  • DPS Office of Family and Community Engagement
  • Radical Arts Academy of Denver (RAAD)
  • Denver Community Voters

Denver Public Schools values equity, integrity, accountability, students-first, and fun. These innovative approaches to learning celebrate each child’s unique creative expression, recognizing that creativity is essential for personal growth, problem-solving, and self-discovery.

Governor Jared Polis signing the groundbreaking shovel.

“With a new school comes new opportunities for our children and our educators. I was happy to join the groundbreaking for the new Ceylon Campus in Northeast Denver earlier this week. This DPS School will serve early childhood through second-grade students and focus on STEAM or science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics.”

GOVERNOR JARED POLIS

Yuzo and Kelly, our new school leaders, embrace diversity and create an inclusive environment where all children feel valued and respected. By promoting equality, understanding, and empathy among our community, they emphasize the importance of appreciating and learning from different perspectives and backgrounds.

Our school leaders recognize the power of art, providing opportunities for children to explore and express themselves through various art forms.

Superintendent Dr. Marrero is excited and honored to bring this new school to our community.

“Ceylon was inspired by the desire to do right by our city, and to give more children access to a well rounded DPS education. As leaders in education, this campus has been designed with precision and intention- with a focus on delivering an education to meet every learner’s needs. ”
