Required: Must possess a current Colorado Teacher License with endorsement in Elementary Education and passing score on the PLACE or Praxis II in elementary education, OR qualify for Alternative License and have plans to obtain a passing score on the PLACE or Praxis II in elementary education.
Required: Proof of completion of an approved program for the preparation of special education generalists from a regionally accredited college or university or 24 semester hours as determined by CDE via a transcript review: Passing score on three content exams–Elementary Education, Special Education Generalist and Teaching Reading.
