Free Dental Check-Ups 10/14!

Free preventive dental sealant services for kindergarten through eighth-grade Denver Public School students are provided through the mobile division of Denver Health’s School-based Dental Clinic. These dental sealant services also include a dental screening and fluoride treatment.

Dental Sealant team will be coming to RASA the week of October 14. They provide simple screening for cavities, placement of sealants, and fluoride treatments. It will only take 5-10 minutes for each student.

It is completely FREE!

Our School Nurse will be handing out flyers for students to take home. It consists of a consent form for treatment that must be returned to the Nurse’s office or individual teachers. 

Services Provided (all free):

1. Dental Screening 
2. Dental Sealants
3. Fluoride Varnish applications 
4. Referral for dental care (for those children who exhibit oral disease which requires the attention of a dentist).
5. A follow-up screening for referred students with another application of fluoride
6. Take home oral hygiene kit

Providers:

Registered Dental Hygienists (RDH) employed by Denver Health provides all services.
